Ursa Major was founded to address a critical shortfall in the U.S. industrial base and bring a new model to aerospace and defense systems: we design and manufacture the world’s leading propulsion systems for space, hypersonic applications, and missile systems.

  • Travel to customer sites and lead engine integration, perform checkouts, and assist in test and flight campaigns
  • Review data from engine tests to support fast-paced customer test campaigns
  • Troubleshoot engine and component hardware issues in the field, develop solutions with the Ursa team and customer, and lead implementation
  • Identify and implement engine improvements focused on customer needs, risk reduction, and end-use
  • Ensure best practices and technical alignment between Ursa Major and customer engine operations
  • Optimize field support processes and documentation practices for flight readiness
  • Train and mentor entry-level Mission Integration engineers
  • Develop training materials and train customers on operating Ursa Major engines
