Compliance Manager

Lafayette & Berthoud, CO
The journey to space starts with the engines.

Ursa Major was founded to bring a new model to space access: one in which every link in an enormous value chain isn’t limited by those around it. We design rocket engines and propulsion solutions.

Our products and technologies require an extraordinary team. A team who will mold tomorrow’s technologies while deploying today’s best. We are comprised of intrinsically motivated individuals who have a passion for solving problems and empower each other every day to develop our skills, knowing that there is always room for growth.

We are seeking a Compliance Manager to develop, manage, and maintain Ursa Major’s compliance program and policies. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance professional who thrives in a rapidly growing company.

This role will report to the General Counsel but will interact with all areas of Ursa Major. This includes working closely with leaders across the business to identify needs and ensure effective implementation of compliance initiatives. As Ursa Major’s first compliance-focused hire, you will serve as a generalist, providing guidance in various areas of compliance, including knowledge of a variety of state and federal laws and regulations impacting Ursa Major’s core business. A successful candidate will also face unfamiliar areas of compliance confidently, learning on-the-go and leading the rest of the team through ambiguities.
Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $75,000 - $130,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy. Click here for more information about our awesome benefits.

US CITIZENSHIP OR PERMANENT RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED.

We’re an equal opportunity employer. You will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.

No outside recruiters please.
